Earning an ASN
The Associate of Science in Nursing degree at HCI prepares students for a career in the nursing field through 72 credit hours of instruction. Courses will include a combination of lectures, laboratory work, clinicals, and field training for a comprehensive and thorough understanding of nursing responsibilities and health care procedures.
Nurses work with patients to coordinate their care. Whether its checking in on a patient with an IV or taking blood for lab work, nurses will participate in many aspects of a patients care and will often be the person that the patient sees the most.
